The Truth Awakening Way

Short story of Michael's personal journey, which led to Truth Awakening

(First Journal Post)

I paused on including my before-and-after photo from 2021-2023, concerned it might give the wrong impression. However, these images symbolize more than a physical transformation; they reflect a profound journey of releasing accumulated negative energy and limiting beliefs. They show the removal of egoic masks, creating space to align and co-create with my Soul. This alignment, guided by intuitive knowing, flows from a place of love, passion, and peace.

ree

This transformation symbolizes the release of limiting beliefs, identities, and definitions through ongoing ego dissolution. It’s walking with honest intentions and loving actions in all that I witness in my day-to-day life. Cultivating mindful awareness and striving not to judge myself, others, or circumstances negatively has brought greater peace and acceptance with All-That-Is. This perspective deepens when we recognize everything as an aspect of God, serving to balance personal and collective consciousness. Everything happens for a reason. Acknowledging this brings clarity, a gift only the Soul or Higher-Self can offer. This true knowing is attainable when the personality self chooses love over fear. This knowing is from a place of acceptance, allowance, and peace, no matter what the Universe is reflecting to an individual or collective. This is infeasible by the individual egoic self, which is finite in perception and realization.

Every experience serves a purpose, contributing to the highest good of all. This knowing gifted by the Soul supersedes any egoic ideas of expectations or presumptions created from past personal experiences. When you prescribe something, you perpetuate it, signaling to the Universe, “This is my belief, so I want to keep experiencing it.” Your beliefs, feelings, actions, and perceptions shape what you experience through the energy you’re emitting. Holding onto beliefs like “This person has always been this way" or “This is how it’s always been” perpetuates those experiences. It restricts the opportunity for you to experience something new because those things are being held in a negative context. Moving beyond this means recognizing everything as an aspect or expression of God. “Behold, I make all things new,” is releasing limiting ideas or perceiving beyond surface level negativity and knowing the aspect of God that resides in all. This is not about religion or any other ideology. It’s how our reality is fabricated and how I created great change in my life.

This is why acceptance and peace are essential—reality is always balancing itself toward harmony. You don’t need to force change; instead, allow it to happen within yourself. When a person is in a state of victim and perpetrator consciousness, peace and harmony are stiff-armed. Things happen for you and through you, not to you. What we call coincidence, accidents, or bad luck often reflect the ego’s avoidance of deeper “cause and effect” or Divine agreement at play. There’s always a silver lining, and living with peace, allowance, and acceptance paves the way to move beyond negativity.

Decisions that are unquestionable are rooted in the Soul’s knowing, manifesting as a flow state. It’s a deep feeling that flows through you. Aligning to this creates the opportunity to see the bigger picture with greater clarity. Through attentiveness, discernment, honesty, and love, Divine insight into your evolving reality becomes accessible. Your beliefs, thoughts, actions, emotions, state of being, and Soul level agreements call everything into your existence. Ultimately, this way of being involves acknowledging, feeling, processing, and fully embodying your True-Self—the Christed-Self within.

ree

Living in alignment means transcending fear, as fear only perpetuates itself. Fear separates you from your True-Self, yet it serves as a paradoxical teacher, helping you recognize what is not in resonance with the Soul’s love vibration. Aligning with your Soul is the path to becoming your True-Self. This happens by becoming more attuned to your Soul’s communication—excitement, peace, love, and unquestionable inner knowing. Moments of misalignment are opportunities for reflection. Ask yourself: Why is this discomfort or friction arising?

Misalignment isn’t inherently negative; it’s an opportunity for growth. When negativity arises, reflection is essential to understand what is limiting you. This “why” becomes a teaching moment, guiding you to release what’s weighing you down—mentally, emotionally, or physically. There are countless reasons for inner disturbance, and only you can truly uncover them.

ree

Heavy emotions like fear, anger, and other limiting states persist when you enable, condone, or entertain what disturbs your inner peace. This concept may challenge some, as it emphasizes taking accountability for your well-being through conscious choice. Every morning, you enter the classroom of conscious spiritual growth. Your life is Divinely designed, shaped by free will, growth needs, and pre-birth agreements.

There are no coincidences; accepting accountability opens the doorway to Divinity’s clarity. Your responses to life’s experiences can profoundly impact Humanity, often more than any external contribution. This doesn’t mean giving to others lacks purpose or impact. It highlights that you don’t need wealth or extensive service to positively impact the world and Humanity’s collective consciousness. By uplifting yourself, you uplift the entire world!

ree

Every human being has the opportunity to embrace and fulfill their life’s purpose in each waking moment. This journey will include off days when you’re not functioning at your best, and that’s okay. Off days offer valuable lessons in rest, compassion, humility, grace, balance, gratitude, and forgiveness—both toward yourself and others. You may wonder, “How can I create meaningful purpose in my life?” Your life’s purpose on a macro level may relate to transformative life-changing actions driven by excitement, desire, or a call to act. Desire rooted in self-serving, negative aspects of the ego becomes disingenuous, whereas genuine purpose arises from alignment with truth and the highest good of all. Ultimately, ask yourself: Is this action coming from a place of fear or love?

Truth is inherently neutral, offering full transparency and clarity when delivered in love. This is something to reflect on and master through Awakening Your Truth. Start by cultivating honest intentions and expressing them through loving actions. On a micro level, purpose lies in how you navigate daily interactions and circumstances. That means flowing with what calls to you in the moment while consciously responding to everything you experience. To be clear, this doesn’t mean skipping work just because you feel tired! For example, practice accountability by planning ahead the night before, ensuring a smooth morning and timely commute. Your morning doesn’t have to be confrontational when the so-called hustle and bustle crucible alarm clock begins to ring!

ree

Mindfulness, presence, accountability, and Soul alignment dissolve stagnation and restore flow. While driving to work, listen to what uplifts your mood, or sit in the silence of the present now. At work, let your intellect and intuition harmoniously guide you, prioritizing tasks that feel most meaningful or important. Start with the biggest fire and finish with the smoldering embers by day’s end. Make the best of any situation by acting on what feels true, coupled with honest self-assessment and mindful actions.

At times, you may feel lost, disconnected, or out of place. In these moments, ask for guidance from your Soul. Use this time to set heartfelt intentions and embrace total honesty with yourself. Say to yourself: I am transforming my life. I release emptiness and unfulfillment. I welcome new values into my life. Through this transition, I will remain true to myself, those I engage with, and my responsibilities.”

ree

These are just a few ways to cultivate a meaningful purpose in your life. You have the free will to remain in spiritual middle school or graduate with multiple master’s degrees—depending on how consciously and proactively you approach life. The more you align with honest intentions and loving actions, the more your Soul reveals what needs to be known. This inner knowing is sound and peaceful by nature.

Transformation dismantles biased lenses shaped by personal experiences, collective history, and societal norms. This new perspective opens the door to truth, allowing you to see through innocence and love. By uplifting your emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, you step into your optimal self. Celebrate small daily victories by choosing actions that uplift and inspire you! Action is the language of physical reality—it is how you manifest change and growth. If these ideas feel unclear or seem like riddles, that’s okay—growth often begins with curiosity and exploration. Let me relate these ideas through personal experiences we all shared during a pivotal period in history.

ree

I’d like to begin by asking a few questions about a specific period in your life. Where were you in mid-2020? What was your environment like, and who were you surrounded by? How was your mental state, and how did those closest to you seem during that time? This isn’t meant to create discomfort but to encourage reflection. During this time, nearly everyone faced challenges, whether minor or severe. I acknowledge the pain and struggles people endured during this time and beyond. I understand the pain and suffering many people experienced, and my heart goes out to all.

Mid-2020 was my lowest point—mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and to a degree, physically. Some of you may relate to experiencing a similar low. In 2020, the collective consciousness felt turned upside down. The world we knew was gone, replaced by a “new norm” knocking at everyone’s doorstep.

ree

My experience was unique but may resonate with others who have faced challenges as well. For me, it felt like a double blow: in late 2019, I stepped away from a successful, decade-long military career. I left behind financial and medical security and a career that gave me purpose. I temporarily faced deep fears of being jobless and purposeless. Thankfully, I had enough accumulated leave to begin my first semester of college in the fall of 2019.

Transitioning out of the military, enrolling in college, and holding myself accountable through such uncertain times was an extensive process. College became a priority for two key reasons. First, attending college had been a primary reason for joining the military. Growing up, my family sometimes struggled to keep food in the fridge, let alone afford college tuition. Second, my experience as a shipboard electrician in the Navy held limited value in the civilian workforce. Earning credentials felt essential before starting the next chapter of my life.

ree

By the time I started my second semester of college in early 2020, the world had descended into chaos. The world essentially shut down, and understandably, no one knew what was truly happening. With extra free time while attending college, I delved into geopolitical and global economic data. While I don’t claim to be an economics expert, the extra time broadened my understanding. This time also allowed me to access and contrast information from diverse sources, deepening my awareness.

I used inductive reasoning to form broader conclusions about the unfolding global events. It quickly became clear that there was more to the situation than met the eye, especially regarding the actions of global and political leaders. This perspective isn’t about politics but rather an unbiased observation and assessment that I hope will resonate. I’m addressing the elephant in the room to highlight something significant for us all to consider. I’m about to share my thoughts plainly, without sugarcoating. This perspective is being relayed plainly, and all I ask is for you to consider what resonates while leaving what doesn’t. What I’m about to state may seem like a short rant, but I assure you it shines light on a person’s hidden truth that may have always been hiding in plain sight.

ree

In 2020, we saw many conflicting actions and contradictory information. In my view, much of it defied logic or intuitive response. Globally, actions resembled political posturing, Machiavellian strategies, or poorly implemented protocols that failed to prioritize people’s well-being. The actions taken did not uplift, inspire, or empower people during this dark and difficult period. Instead, what unfolded felt like a totalitarian overreach—destructive, degrading, and divisive, driving extreme polarities.

Acknowledging this might be difficult, especially for those who haven’t experienced anything similar before. As a collective, we were consumed by an invisible threat, blind to the multi-faceted dangers unfolding beneath the surface. Like many others, I initially accepted the narrative, driven by fear of illness and the possibility of causing harm to others.

ree

As days turned into weeks and summer arrived, it became obvious that fear was the main course served by global leaders, politicians, and news outlets. A corrupt agenda seemed evident, especially as data emerged that appeared misrepresented to an unclear extent. Of course, one life lost is always one too many! By mid-2020, it became clear that fear was being weaponized to manipulate Humanity, exploiting goodwill, empathy, compassion, altruism, and vulnerability to the fear of death. It was then that I realized Humanity was unraveling—mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

After two months, I realized that those not grounded in their well-being—myself included—were more easily misled, failing to use discernment to recognize the propaganda being force-fed by news outlets. The year 2020 also exposed the complicity of political leaders at every level—county, state, and federal—across both sides of the aisle. This isn’t to say that everyone in power is corrupt. However, it only takes one or two individuals at the top of an organization to misdirect the entire system. Through life experience, you may have observed how individuals can be controlled through bribery, blackmail, brainwashing, or even threats. Such manipulation is often orchestrated by individuals driven by excessive ego, narcissism, or psychopathic tendencies. Being familiar with this, to a certain degree, allowed me the constructive determination to consider the amount of corruption that was taking place during 2020.

ree

I believe most people are inherently good-hearted and not malicious. If you haven’t encountered such circumstances firsthand, it can be difficult to fathom how those in power can be so complicit or corrupt. To some extent, I witnessed this firsthand across various ranks of officers and enlisted personnel during my military service. This isn’t about blaming others to justify the global circumstances. At some point, we’ve all been guilty of thinking or acting in self-serving ways. So, the question is: if we aren’t honest with ourselves, how can we recognize that same energy of dishonesty in others?

If a person’s spiritual compass wasn’t aligned and their mindset grounded in sovereignty, it would have been difficult to see past the manipulation and deceit of 2020. If you can relate, I’m not stating you are a bad person by any means. It’s difficult to stay aligned, recognize your worth, and connect to your Divinity in a world built on half-truths and lies. Through social engineering, the majority of society has been construed in such a way to deliberately desensitize, confuse, and divide everyone and everything. Distraction, overwhelm, and frustration create the perfect storm, leaving people vulnerable to manipulation and deceit.

This is achieved through propaganda and tactics like subliminal messaging, hallmarks of psychological warfare 101. My upbringing and military background helped me discern this agenda early on. However, in hindsight, I realize I might have experienced less confusion if I’d been truly aligned with my Soul instead of perceiving from a place of fear. Today, I believe more people recognize a global corruption that lacks Humanity’s best interests at heart. I’ve tried to present this in a way that is both digestible and respectful of the gravity of the situation.

ree

What has taken place since 2020 has inspired me to take action to help bring awareness by uplifting Humanity's consciousness. I began to realize that the majority of people, including myself, were not being completely honest on a personal level because fear overshadowed the truth. We've been conditioned to tell ourselves whatever we need to justify our circumstances, actions, or inactions. In doing so, we tend to overlook and make excuses for other people’s lies and circumstantial red flags, when dealing with friends, family, co-workers, political leaders, and so forth.

This is why we lived in a world that existed as such. Over time, we’ve allowed a system that fails to uplift everyone’s well-being. We’ve embraced a pyramid scheme where those at the top believe they benefit while those at the bottom seem to self-destruct with fear, anger, greed, and uncertainty. This realization led me to create a nonprofit called Truth Awakening. My passion and vision are to inspire people to become their best self.

ree

When a person uplifts their well-being, it brings peace and clarity to their life, positively affecting everyone around them. This creates the opportunity for that person to create the life they are meant to live. For this to happen, you have to focus inward. Fundamentally, this consists of honest intentions and loving actions focused on the mind and body. For our world to transform in a positive sense, we must first individually uplift ourselves. Riots and protests are not what creates true change. Great change occurs in a person’s life when they become whole themselves, which is to release all past history, beliefs, and stored negativity born in fear, lack, and separation.

There’s no better place to start than with the mind and body. The mind and body are the physical foundation of our being, yet we often lose sight of their importance. We focus on the material world, losing sight of what’s vital to our well-being: the mind and body. When you focus your attention, your energy, upon the mind and body, anything is possible. But first you must perceive through an unbiased lens. This begins by recognizing and acknowledging your own hidden truths. This is where honest intentions and loving actions play such a significant role.

ree

When you don’t have honest intentions, you have self-serving intentions. Self-serving intentions, which stem from the negative aspects of the ego, hinder true growth. The ego is beneficial because it reminds a human being what it has forgotten. The ego creates the feeling of fear, lack, separation, and individuality. It serves as a mirror to the duality of oneness. The ego is not your enemy, it is your greatest guide to your Soul. Answers to life lessons can always be found in the paradox. Fear offers the opportunity to recognize and choose love. Love is the vibrational accord of your Soul. A human being couldn’t have a physical experience if the ego were not so. Nor have the choice to choose the opposite of fear, which is love.

At its core, the ego’s primary role is self-preservation—seeking safety, relevance, and control. The ego can limit you from spiritual growth, for it stimulates the feeling of separation and individualism. While individuality should be honored as a positive aspect of the ego, this does not excuse or undermine our collective spiritual connection. We are all one in spirit. The one is all, and all is one. For much of human history, the ego often controlled the mind and body, driven by FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) and tied to survival instincts like self-preservation, reproduction, and social belonging. It’s important to remember that fear isn’t necessary to stay safe. Prudence, mindfulness, sound judgment, and discernment are all you need to stay safe and sound.

ree

Embracing fear gradually dims your sovereign light. Fear distances you from alignment with your Soul. Accepting fear as your truth is akin to denying your inherent wholeness, your Divine birthright. In today’s resource-rich world, the ego has evolved by utilizing people’s beliefs, identities, and definitions to stay relevant and in control.

This is why people react defensively when their beliefs, identity, or definitions are challenged. When grounded in sovereignty and spirituality, you don’t feel frustration or resentment when alternate perspectives challenge your perception. Those grounded in honest intentions and loving actions welcome new ideas, knowing they stimulate growth and broaden perspectives. This is how we expand our perspective and, in return, our consciousness. The broader your consciousness, the greater your awareness of life’s circumstances.

ree

This is The Truth Awakening Way. Awaken Your Truth by cultivating honest intentions and loving actions toward the mind and body. Balancing and uplifting the mind and body reduces friction, helping you recognize communication from the Soul. It’s about tuning into that inner peace and deep knowing! This creates synergy between the mind, body, and soul! Broaden your perspective in life (by becoming open in the heart and mind) to gain a healthier perception of your reality. Take your time and implement healthy choices that positively affect your overall well-being.

Start subtly by incorporating organic whole foods into your diet. If it feels daunting, make it enjoyable—try a healthy smoothie with frozen fruits, fresh greens, and anything that may call to you. If you’re stressed before bed, pause and reflect—why? Are you consistently being overstimulated by your phone or negative content in the evening? What about taking time to stretch or activate your body with gentle or strenuous exercise? When was the last time you challenged yourself mentally or physically—by picking up a new hobby, exploring different perspectives, or studying new life philosophies? Well, I guess that’s what you’re doing right now! These are the mindful actions that will add value to your life. This isn’t about idolizing the mind and body but rather recognizing their significance. I’m emphasizing the importance of becoming conscious and accountable for these two essential aspects that shape your life experience.

ree

Being conscious of these actions will profoundly impact your overall health and well-being. Be mindful and present with your thought patterns, actions, and the emotions that drive them. Ask yourself: “Am I reacting or responding to situations?” The moment you become aware, you unlock the freedom to choose between reacting or responding. It is always a choice. You have the choice to choose darkness (fear) or light (love). Consistently shifting from reactive actions to deliberate, controlled responses will transform and uplift you. It’s not allowing wild emotions to dictate your actions. You may still feel those echoes of familiar heavy emotions, but those provocative feelings will eventually wane into the great abyss. Intrusive thoughts and emotions will become less frequent as you reprogram and transcend old, redundant patterns.

This transformation helps release the residual negative energy that created those character flaws. By responding differently, you create new neural pathways in your brain, allowing your nervous system to regulate itself instead of remaining in constant fight-or-flight mode. Fight-or-flight mode often stems from past trauma, chronic stress, and prolonged exposure to unhealthy habits, which become learned behavior. As you fully surrender (release) the negative energy that created them, the echoes of past emotions will appear less and less.

This doesn’t mean you need to recall the exact details of past circumstances that caused you pain, only the root negative emotion triggering your pain body. These negative emotions stem from fear and manifest in various forms. Examples include anger, greed, guilt, shame, lust, vanity, gluttony, despair, envy, jealousy, lack, misery, depression, anxiety, and more. Reflecting on these negative emotions and releasing the beliefs behind them helps you recognize your worth, take accountability for your life, and wake up each day renewed.

Awareness is the key to streamlining your journey toward becoming your True-Self. You are defined by nothing unless you choose to allow it. Be the generation, no matter how old you may be, by standing up and stating, “It stops with me.” Be the cycle breaker by releasing old, dense ways of thinking and acting. Instead of a fixed mindset, shift to a flexible, forward-leaning growth mindset. Ask yourself: Who do I want to be in this world? How do I want to contribute to those around me?

ree

I hope this inspires you to take ownership and consistent action toward your well-being in all areas of your life. Help guide others by sharing the Truth Awakening platform and its message. How can you truly live if you are unaware of your inner truth, no matter how uncomfortable or invigorating it may be! Together, we can contribute to this conscious paradigm shift by uplifting ourselves and inspiring others by living genuinely and wholeheartedly. Remember, you cannot change other people, but you can positively uplift yourself. This message is for those who resonate with the information shared. At Truth Awakening, we neither force nor push beliefs. We promote and inspire honest intentions, loving actions, unity, compassion, and well-being. Be the change you wish to see in the world—everything else is just noise!

In truth & love,

Michael
